Social
Code.
The Vocations Network exists to primarily to support and nurture the priestly vocations of those men who, in accordance with the House of Bishops Declaration and the Five Guiding Principles are, on the grounds of theological conviction, unable to receive the ministry of women bishops and women priests. Therefore, our gatherings, events and support services are all covered by our Social Code, which each member of the network agrees to abide by.
- Attendance at any event organised by the Vocations Network is open to all men who are discerning a call to ordination as a priest in the Church of England.
- All participant should be sympathetic to the aims and work of the Society, and assent to the Five Guiding Principles to foster an environment of respect.
- Participants will not be asked to confirm their views on the ordination of women or issues of human sexuality, understanding that there may be divergent views.
- Should any participants demeanour, attitude or expressed views conflict with the spirit of mutual flourishing, they may be asked to leave any session or event, without further recourse as the Leadership team deems appropriate.
